Google enters the browser (OS) war with Google Chrome
I’ve been almost right on that one. Google will launch tomorrow its browser, code named Chrome. Early beta, as usual, but we all know that what Google calls a beta is something like a release 5 in some other IT regions.
Yes. After years of rumors, the browser (and the GoogleOS) will be there.
A comic has been released by Google to some bloggers. It explains very well the concept and what Chrome will bring to user experience.
Of course Chrome will integrate Gears (off line mode), Gtalk, Google Docs and others Google wanna-kill-MS services. And since Google knows, they leveraged open source project (like the great Apple Webkit and the world famous Firefox), and they will give back many thing in open source.
Trust me. Fun is ahead.
