DeepGreen is a product that is driven directly from the efforts of Bizgres, a GreenPlum-sponsored and community-supported open source project, the mission of which is to build a comprehensive database platform for Business Intelligence on top of PostgreSQL. Greenplum is working closely with the leaders of the PostgreSQL community as well as many of the industryÂ’s largest companies on the PostGreen project.
