Quotero provides a fully Open Source DMS. Designed for organisations of any size and any activity, Quotero is pretty fast and with interesting features like an Office plugin. Even if Quotero is pretty young compared to Alfresco or Nuxeo, it is a promising open source DMS.

Magnolia is an open source, J2EE deployable content management system (CMS). It uses the standard API for java content repositories (JCR) (JSR-170) to access its content.

Magnolia is an Enterprise Content Management System (ECM) developed by Magnolia International Ltd. (formerly obinary) and a community of international contributors. It is currently available in 15 languages including Russian, Chinese, English, French, German and Spanish. Magnolia uses the JSR-170 standard API to access its content. It has a web-browser interface, an API and a custom tag library for templating in JSP and Servlets.

Two editions exist, one free open source Community Edition, and a commercial Enterprise Edition that offers additional features and professional support covered though SLA's and provided by Magnolia International.

DocMGR is a complete, web-based Document Management System (DMS). It allows for the storage of any file type, and supports full-text indexing of the most popular document formats. It is available in many different languages and is easy to translate into new languages. DocMGR runs on PHP, the Apache webserver, and Postgresql. It optionally uses tsearch2 for full-text indexing which provides for faster search results and result ranking. DocMGR supports LDAP authentication, the ability to easily add and remove "objects" for storage in the system, document workflow, object subscriptions, WebDAV access, and an ever-growing set of features revolving around content storage.
